How to Swap Tokens on Robinhood Chain: A Wallet-to-Confirmation Guide
A same-chain swap starts in your wallet and ends on Robinhood Chain. Before you begin, connect the wallet you intend to use, select Robinhood Chain, and keep enough ETH for network gas. Official Robinhood Chain network documentation describes its network configuration; gas is separate from the token amount you are swapping.
Network reference: chain ID 4663; gas token ETH; explorer Blockscout.
A practical flow
- Connect your wallet and confirm the network.
- Choose the tokens under You pay and You receive, then enter an amount.
- Read the quote, then select Swap to open Confirm swap.
- Review the conditions and wallet request before you submit it.
- Check the transaction status or explorer result before starting another swap.
Choose tokens and check the contract
Robinhood Chain can use a market-discovered token list. The configured examples are ETH, WETH, USDG, cbBTC. Token support does not guarantee every pair or amount is available; compare a contract address with a source you trust and read the quote before signing.
- ETH is the native gas token.
- WETH contract on Blockscout
- USDG contract on Blockscout
- cbBTC contract on Blockscout
The market list is an identity aid, not a recommendation. A token name or symbol can be copied; check the contract and route details yourself before signing.
Request and read a quote
Enter an amount and wait for the quote. Check the estimated output, total fee, price impact and the source shown in the swap card. Open the confirmation screen only when those details match your intent. A quote is time-limited, so refresh it if it expires or if you change the amount, pair or network.
Review the conditions before signing
Check what you pay, the estimated amount you receive, the minimum received and the slippage tolerance. Price impact describes the trade’s effect at the quoted size; slippage tolerance sets how much less output you are willing to accept if conditions move before execution. The wallet will show an estimated network fee before it sends a transaction.
Approve only when your token needs it
Native ETH does not need an ERC-20 spending approval. Selling an ERC-20 can require a separate approval or a signed permit, depending on the route. Verify the token, the contract receiving permission, the amount or limit, and any expiry. An approval can use gas even if the later swap is not sent or does not succeed.
Send the swap and check the result
After wallet confirmation, wait for the transaction status. If it succeeds, use the explorer link to inspect the on-chain result. If status is unknown or pending, inspect the existing transaction before opening another quote. If it fails or expires, request a new quote and check your ETH balance first. A reverted transaction can still spend gas.
