What Does a Robinhood Chain Swap Cost? Fees, Gas and the Quote Explained
A swap can have more than one cost. The quote shows trade details before you confirm, while your wallet separately estimates the ETH network fee required to send a transaction on Robinhood Chain. Review both before signing.
What the quote shows
Swapdore displays a total fee in the quote. The fee is included in the sell input, rather than added on top. When a provider allocation applies, it is part of that total fee, not a separate surcharge. Pool fees and other route economics can also affect the exchange rate and output shown in the quote.
The platform tariff uses a USDT-equivalent reference for each swap:
- First 1,000 USDT-equivalent: 0.10%
- Next 999,000 USDT-equivalent: 0.05%
- Only the portion above 1,000,000 USDT-equivalent: 0.01%
There is no cap and no cumulative-volume tier. For illustration, a 2,000 USDT-equivalent input has a 1.50 USDT-equivalent trading tariff before token and router rounding: 1.00 on the first 1,000 plus 0.50 on the next 1,000. This excludes network gas and exchange-rate or pool costs.
Network gas is separate
Robinhood Chain network documentation lists its network configuration. Your wallet shows a ETH gas estimate before an approval or swap is submitted, and the transaction receipt records the final amount. Keep ETH aside even when selling a different token. An ERC-20 approval may be separate and can have its own gas cost.
Price impact, slippage and minimum received
Price impact is the quoted effect of your trade size on available liquidity. Slippage tolerance is the condition you set for a changing market before execution. The minimum received is the floor included in the transaction. Read all three with the estimated output; none promises that a route remains available until you submit.
What can change
Quotes expire. Network gas can change, and a mined approval or reverted transaction may consume gas even if the swap does not complete. A request rejected before submission does not consume gas for that request. Check the explorer and request a fresh quote before trying again.
